No Taxes or Duties - Fast Free Shipping - Free Returns... $419 is your absolute final/total here for the Nordvang Custom 83 Drive Pedal v2.5, handmade in Copenhagen, Denmark!

The Nordvang 83 Drive v2.5 is an all analog, custom-made, dual overdrive guitar pedal, and the ultimate tone machine, providing a variety of delicious sounds for any rig. It can be used as an always-on drive, to a mid-boosting lead tone, and everything in between. This is Nordvang's take on the legendary Klon style overdrive, plus the Black Box Blues Breaker. It features two independent overdrives, giving you two sought-after, classic sounds, favored by many guitarists, all in one enclosure.

The Nordvang 83 Drive v2.5 update…

  • By popular demand in 2021, the 83 Drive v2.5 now features a TRS split function to use with pedal looper systems like the GigRig, etc. The TRS split is enabled via 3 internal dip switches.
  • To make room for the dip switches for the TRS split functionality, Nordvang reduced the number of switching options for tweaking of the BB side (side A), compared to the v1 of the 83 Drive. Side A now features a stock, and an alternate setting, for each of the 2 parameters: Hard-clipping, and gain. And 3 settings for the soft clipping parameter.
  • 83 Drive's enclosure is now finished in a fine texture powder coat.

Nordvang Custom's inspiration for the 83 Drive came from their enthusiasm for each of the two pedals used alone, and by how amazing both pedals sounded when stacked together. Both of these pedals have played a major part in the live guitar sound of John Mayer through the years, as the role of the pre-drive that he stacks into his TS10 Tube Screamer, to obtain his incredibly unique lead tone. Nordvang decided to put the number 83 in the name, as the number 83 is a significant number for John Mayer.

Nordvang Custom has re-created these circuits, staying true to the originals, but they made the Blues Breaker circuit true bypass, with additional switching options for tweaking, and increased the headroom up to 18 Volts (please only use a 9 volt power supply, as this feature happens internally and is automatic). Nordvang kept the buffer in on the Klon style side of the circuit.

The 83 Drive is divided into a Side A (left), and a Side B (right), separated by the order toggle switch in the middle, which flips the internal order of the effects, and hence the signal path from the guitar to the amp.

SIDE A (LEFT):

Side A features the Blues Breaker style circuit, with external knobs for GAIN, TONE, VOLUME, and a 3-position toggle switch labeled LOWS. The LOWS switch changes the bass response of the circuit. Internally, you find 4 sets of dip switches (gain, soft clipping, symmetrical/asymmetrical clipping, and hard clipping). These dip switches further enable you to tweak your tone.

Features of Side A (Left):

  • Replicate of the circuit of the first BB1, the Black Box Blues Breaker circuit.
  • Op amp supply voltage increased to 18 Volts for more headroom.
  • External 3-position lows toggle switch for extended low frequency response.
  • 4 sets of internal dip switches for extended tweaking:
    1:  Distortion/hard clipping (switch 1-2)
    2: Clean boost/Overdrive/soft clipping (switch 3-4)
    3: Symmetrical-Asymmetrical clipping (switch 5-6)
    4: Gain: Low/medium/high (switch 7-8)

SIDE B (RIGHT):

Side B features the Klon style circuit, with external knobs for GAIN, TREBLE, OUTPUT and a 2-position toggle switch labeled CLIPPING. The clipping switch toggles between a pair of germanium or schottky clipping diodes. Both sides of this pedal can be used separately, or stacked.

Features of Side B (Right):

  • Exact replica of the classic Klon circuit.
  • External 2-position Clipping switch to switch between a pair of Germanium, or a pair of Schottky clipping diodes in the overdrive gain stage.
  • The germanium diodes used are original russisk NOS D9B.
  • External switch to choose in which order the signal passes through the two circuits.

The Nordvang Custom 83 Drive is built using carefully selected top shelf components:

  • Vishay 1% metalfilm resistors
  • WIMA MKP10, MKS4 and FKP2 film capacitors (no electrolytes in the audio circuit)
  • VIMEX sealed potentiometers
  • Carling Footswitch
  • CKK and Taiway toggle switches
  • Pure Tone Multi-Contact 1/4" Jack
  • Silver plated teflon insulated cable for internal wiring.
  • U.S. made Davies Moulding 1470 knobs

Treats and plenty of ball throwing with these doggie toy
Size: Medium (2.5"), Style: Fetch Pack 1
I have actually purchased these twice already. I love the one that glows in the dark but it still got lost in my yard lol. My dog is a big breed half pitt/Labrador so she did chew through one of them already. I play ball with her every single day but I DO have to take them away from her because she will destroy them. They are great to add in treats as well, that was one of the my favorite things about them as well. They do last just if you have an over zealous chewer do not let them keep them for long periods of time. They are a good value for the price. Buy them your dog will love it!

My Female GSD loves
Size: Medium (2.5"), Style: Fetch Pack 1, Size: Medium (2.5"), Style: Fetch Pack 1
Shasta is my smallest. Six in December (2025) along with her brother. She’s 100 lbs and outside, completely ball driven see last picture. Don’t let the size (2.5”) of these Chuck-It balls deter you. If your larger Breed dog has any orthopedic issues, has already torn their ACL etc, one has arthritis but wants to play. This size is perfect! Shazzy was born with several ortho issues. I don’t throw balls distance but right to her. This size and lighter weight assure even when Shazzy is spazzy w excitement, she’ll catch the ball mid air. The green balls are softer, and glow in the dark. In summer we can play well past dusk and I can see them! Her personality shows in the pictures. Playing ball is part of her. These balls are just perfect for her situation. Somehow they disappear, she loves making baskets, puts them in my tractor bucket, or my gardening bucket..then get put in burn pile, trash etc. I keep replacing them because she’d look day and night if we actually ran out!! 🙏✝️👍🏼👍🏼

Honestly took them a while to figure it out with my dumb Pomeranians but easy to clean nice size for SMALL dogs. Pretty overpriced for how small they are to be very honest.
